I got THIS FAR....
...with this particular shot anways. Not sure how much I will add to it at this stage as its currently up for grabs in the animating department (come on...make a bid someone! give 'im a good home) Dont worry, there will only be 1 spider in the final scene....this is just a breakdown. As per the teams request, I have slowed down the camera but it still seems slightly too fast/off....again, it may take someone elses vision to tweak it as staring at it for hours on hand make you lose sense of who you are and what your doing. Overall, Im sort of pleased with the way things are looking with the animating, Ive sort of taken a different working route to Matt by blocking out all my shots first then tweak tweak tweaking...so I can hardly expect to be a same stage as him can I? PULL IT TOGETHER VERRALL-SON *puts bin on head and eats revels*
from above...the relay showing the spiders full path of motion

Nice, you're using the trax far better than i am, ive got no probels with the camera movement i reckon once all the rubble nad backplates and stuff is in there this will be a realy nice shot, see how we both get on over the weekend b4 we make a decision on who wins the scene (i bid 30cm of threaded rod and a dead stuffed parrot)
Trax seems interesting... is it basically one motion repeated and then moved into different places in the scene.... do you end up with about 4 spiders though?? slightly confused.... defo need 2 investigate for my own knowledge :)
well at first we thought we had to do this as when we tried rotating into new directions he went...er...mental. With some further investigation Matt found out you can do it with the one spider including rotations as well as the animation rotations we wanted to import....hmm ive confused myself. never the less, this relay does look quite funny
